In Response To: Test your play AND your memory (Chuck Bower)

This is from Playboy's Book of Backgammon by the recently deceased (think I recall hearing this -- don't want to bury the living) Lewis Deyong, written in 1977. More on that book later. He said that when this position came up in a $ session he thought his opp should play safe (13/5) but later realized that opp's play of 13/7, 6/4 was the right move. Bots have helped us a lot.
