Presumably the $5 fee wouldn't happen until 2010. By then there may not be the need. Most directors have a cache of clocks. As players buy there own the need for a large supply goes down. Gregg says he has a bunch for sale. If necessary after this trial year we could reconsider the suggestion by some (e.g. Ray and Patrick) that clocks be shipped between Ty's.

Again, I think this is a minor issue since there's a good chance by the end of 2009 (if your plan is implemented) there will be plenty of players owning their own. We'll see.

I hope some kind of forum will happen in LV. We can (and have been) suggest(ing) all we want here but it's going to take the community (more players and most/all directors) to get this going.

I like your proposal but don't think it's the only path. Let's get others involved starting in LV and LA. Jeb obviously is already on board for "clocks allowed" for his January Ty. I'll work on Rob for Pittsburgh (maybe that's the wrong phrase since for all I know he's for it already).
