My clock proposal for ABT events for 2009 and beyond

My proposal was that clocks be centered (WITHOUT RESETTING). When a legal roll finally happens the opp of the roller punches to clock and it continues. In this way every roll (by the same person) involves the same amount of time for shake and roll and the same amount of free time for thinking and moving, regardless of whether or not there was cocking.
For those not familiar with the GTII, when you CENTER the clocks the free time per move (typically 12 s) does not reset. BTW, this means that when a game ends, rather than simply centering the clocks, the opp of the last roller's clock should be started and immediately stopped. Now no matter who wins the opening roll, s/he gets the full 12 free seconds. And I don't want to hear any sh__ from Stick that you shouldn't need 12 s for the opening roll! :)
