In Response To: Can't we come up with better terms than "clocks allowed" and "clocks optional" (Bob Koca)

Sometimes I feel like we all spend so much time splitting hairs and spinning wheels on this forum.

Clocks 'insistable' is more accurate than clocks preferred except for the minor fact that 'insistable' is not a word. Sure almost all of us may know what it means but how about the player who doesn't have English as their native language?

The exact wording in Jeb's brochure for Carolina in 2009 is this- In "Clocks Allowed" events, either player may require that a clock be used.. So in one sentence, in the brochure, it is clearly explained what the term means.
