In Response To: Ten Things I Hate About the BG Experience (Stick)

Nobody else has mentioned it but from my random 10 gripes #1, #2, #6 and to some extent #10 could be resolved with clocked matches. I wouldn't mind a touch move rule in the least but it will not happen any time in the near future.

Absolutely !!

I'd love a touch move rule as well, but it would be even more difficult for the massed to get used to than my idea that dice can land anywhere on the playing surface or on top of checkers and not be cocked if they are flat.

We Armenians, when playing serious BG meant it to be straightforward and fun...

1) Dice anywhere count

2) Touch move once you're not a beginner

3) You are supposed to move quickly once you progress past beginner level
