In Response To: Ten Things I Hate About the BG Experience (Matt Cohn-Geier)

"However, one of the things that appeals to me about backgammon is I can make a .200 super-sized whopper and still play a 1.5 in a match. If I did that in chess I'd be done, game over man, game over."

But you couldn't do that in chess. Every error has equity loss of either .5 or 1.
