Ten Things I Hate About the BG Experience

If I was one of those strongest players, though, I would find it galling to get beaten by fish - as Stick does.
Shit happens. Live with it. As has been pointed out many times in this thread, a very strong player can expect to win 60%++ of total matches / games. The reason is because the majority of his opponents are weaker than him. So assume then that he only plays players of equal strength or greater 10% of the time (maybe more, or less, just a random number), that means he plays weaker opponents 90% of the time. Thus he will win the majority of the 90% matches, and in theory just less than half of the top 10%.
In Stick's case, he just hates losing. I hate losing too. Of course, to Stick, almost all his opponents are Fish. Thats just his perspective. It may or may not be true.
My perspective. If I lose because I played poorly, I deserved it. If I lose because I mismanaged a match against an inferior opponent, I deserved it. If I lose to opponents luckboxing their way through a game / match, then I will get that back at some point in the future - the luck will even out. Still upsetting to lose, but I accept responsibility & blame for my actions.
Example, the last 2 or 3 times I played Neil, I have had the good fortune to win. In my karmically enthusiastic world, thats because I got gimped by some weaker players previously (or will in the future), and I was just getting my share of the luck. However, I fully anticipate that Neil will get his deserved share of wins in the long run (I think I am around 3-3, 3-4, 4-4 vs him overall).
