In Response To: Ten Things I Hate About the BG Experience (Chuck Bower)
I always appreciated Kleinman's answer when asked about what percentage of luck and skill is involved in backgammon. Basically he says that the question is a non sequitur. He said that backgammon is actually "100% a luck-management game". The skill of the game is managing the luck that comes with each dice roll, and this skill is used on every play.
