I think one should ask the question:

Is the postership (those who write posts here, particularly on the clock issue) of bgonline representative of the US tournament player? What about the readership?

I see three possibilities:

1) there is no opposition to clock usage (apparently Stick's contention).

2) there is opposition amongst the readership but they are reluctant to speak up (and become the punching-bag of the clock zealots).

3) there is opposition in the general US tournament populace but they don't hang out on this site.

Since the solution should address the US ABT population, not just the bgonline component, there is still some discussion+plan (in LV and elsewhere) needed.
