Hitting a blot if it costs the (only) anchor and leaves a lot of returns, particularly when outboarded usually gets me gonged. How long since I've said how much I wish I had never heard the axiom "when in doubt, hit"?

7(2) is fewer blots and shots than 4(2), does block (single die) six, and leaves all builders in good position. Inner board points are better, especially against a single back checker, but I'm a sucker for efficiently placed builders.
