I agree. Again, deBears are a dog which makes it even more senseless to punt. Take the opportunities given to you.

Of course, you could have the idiot Andy Reid as a coach. The moron calls off-tackle/off-end runs on third AND fourth down with a yard to go at the Giants 30 near the end of the game with 0 or 1 time out. Didn't make it either time. This with McNabb at quarterback (who can run) or innumerable slants available which are gimmes for a few yards. Have they not seen Texas Tech play?

I think Coughlin of the Giants, or one of his staff, watches college ball. Earlier in the year, Texas against Oklahoma, a very similar situation came up where Colt McCoy was potentially across the line of scrimmage when throwing a pass. It was challenged and replayed a million times -- the announcers read the rule which is the same in college and pros that EVERY part of the qb's body has to be past the line of scrimmage. VOILA !! Same thing last night, Coughlin challenges the call and wins. Madden didn't even know the rule.
