I modified the position, taking 2 checkers from the 24 and adding 1 to the mid and 1 to the 6 pt. This evens up the race a bit, Matt trails by 16 pips pre-roll, but it doesn't make any new points.

From the modified position, I'd probably play 13/8 and either 13-11 or 6-4, with 24-22 as 3rd choice. Hitting just looks way too blotty.
