The consensus is directors on the whole at know clocks would be good for both the game and how the tournament is ran but implementing them seems to be the problem.

My proposal to make 2009 the year where either player can insist upon using a clock if he has one takes care of this issue quite nicely. The fact that flyers have been printed nit stating this shouldn't matter since the TD ands staff can email all the pre-entrants and also mention it all over online as well as announce it and post it at the T. If this means that some pre-entrants want to drop out, their money can be returned.
