Katja said "I will never come to another tournament that isn't clocked." I hadn't even addressed this issue, it was out of the blue! I asked her if I could quote her because of the current clock struggle we have. Falafel also agreed that not having clocks in the biggest single tourney in the US was a joke.

On a side note, a strong, young, girl player at a major backgammon tournament, fancy that.

Katja is probably the world's strongest international woman player. Falafel is right about clocks and I hope he made that quite clear to Howard and that we see future Vegas' clocked. I suspect that more Europeans would attend our major events if they were clocked.
