It's harder to clear safely. There are less rolls to safely clear the 14 point without leaving a 6-5 indirect, less rolls to just leave the 6-5 indirect, and once Blue leaves the indirect there are less rolls to clean up the blot left behind.

I wouldn't say that it's huge, it's a pretty small effect IMO. But the race is so close otherwise. I dunno, could be a drop, three point games can be worse than they look.
