CLOCK-troversy 2

Free entertainment, love it.
I write down 8-12/13 on my score sheet. Apparently he wrote down 12-9/13 on his.
If you really didn't see he wrote down the wrong score then both of you are at fault for being slack bg players. Don't bother with whether you really did or didn't, I don't care, but after every game you should double check, some might even say verbally, what the score is. Apparently neither of you did this.
He looks for a second or two, (I wonder why), and then he centers, (pauses), his clock and picks up his pen and score sheet. I quickly write down 9-12 on my score sheet...
Write it down quickly, slowly, laugh & mock as you write it down telling him what a fool he is, doesn't matter the pace, he centered the clock, he passed, end of story.
Some might ask why I didn't let Joe change his mind, and they would have a point but I remembered Clocktroversy 1 from 2 weeks prior
It's true that certain players I would let slide on this, others players I'd even remind them they had a free take knowing they must have something marked down wrong, etc... If it was Chuck or Matt or Bob or whoever, I'd hit their clock again, starting their time, and probably ask "Sure you don't want to take?" and flip my scorecard in their general direction. Nobody has to do this of course, and if it was someone who I felt took cheap shots they'd never get my benefit of the doubt on any decision either.
I tell Pat that I had rolled a 6 already..
If I was sure he knew I'd rolled the 6 and was taking this cheap shot regardless of whether the TD let the bullshit stand, I would deflate tires, bust out car windows, lock him in his room, accidentally spill something on his bg board, etc... I have no tolerance for this shit and if I held ABT events this ppl wouldn't be allowed to attend my tourneys (or be invited back) I'm not speaking about Joe here, let me make that clear, I'd have to see some of this first hand before making such a decision, I don't like the story that gets passed along in all its different variations.
