yeah it was a guy being exceptionally rude to Kathleen Davis, and she is the most polite lady on the planet, I had to give her a lecture on having a backbone. She stood up for herself in this situation and I was proud of her, but Pat Gibson was watching and the player was STILL being rude.

Later the player emailed Pat using the excuse of a physical ailment causing him to be in pain as the reason for his behavior.

When should someone be kicked out? Probably he should have, and maybe even me when I lost my temper at Joe Russel. Directors always try to keep the peace, to a fault. That is why they are popular and successful directors. However, if they were more insistent on good behavior from their players I believe that they would attract MORE customers... If I had been kicked out on Friday afternoon, either for one day or the whole tournament... You can bet I would behave better the next time. The odd player that a director loses when he does not return because he was barred, is living in an altered reality and it is probably best for everyone if he does not return!
