Good point, Jeb. However, it is not followed to the letter by most players, and certainly not by two guys with 30 years of experience... We didn't check eachothers scoresheets at 1-0/13, and 1-8/13 either... except that Joe probably stole a look to make sure I gave him credit for the 8 pointer...

Nothing was said between the other games either, to my recollection... It's actually kind of uncool... 4 to 7, Mr. Russel? 12-9 Ray? Pros are pros and tend to ignore the letter of the law. Joe said nothing, just scored the game, despite his assertions to the contrary.

In the event of a dispute, the scoresheets are consulted, and this rule is in place because people don't always do what they are supposed to do all the time. Otherwise that fucking camera wouldn't have caught me running a red light, with all 4 wheels behind the limit line and the signal RED.

There was no dispute about what the correct score was... Joe changed his sheet to reflect it before Pat got there. Mine was right on. There was no doubt about this. Joe made a mistake and wanted Pat, a comittee, SOMEONE to save him. I don't think I would have done this myself, and I know Norm wouldn't have.
