Round 3 v Bob Glass, I have come back from a 1-8/11 deficit and double Bob in at 7-9/11. I develop a gammonish priming position and go after him... hitting loose on the ace point. He is on the bar, v best 5 point board and fans. I fail to cover with a 9 or 10 and I slot the bar, because he has a blot in his board... So even IF he tosses 16 from the bar, his best, I will still hit him back 1/3 of the time and he will be back in even more severe gammon danger.

Bob gets his 16 from the bar, and I got .........

Well, 26 from the bar!

missing him and losing the game and match.

sigh.

BoB Koca uses Bob G as a springboard in the very next round when he beat Bob G in a very tough match for Bob Glass. What goes around, comes around I guess.
