Double 4s

Some candidates:
A) 13/9(2), 13/5. Builds a nice 5-prime but leaves the back checker to fend for itself.
B) 24/16, followed by:
i) 13/5. No new blot. Not many good 6's if runner is hit.
ii) 13/9(2). Two good things but creates a new (direct shot) blot.
iii) 8/4(2). Saves a spare six (midpoint) at the risk of a new (indirect shot) blot. Shift has some value.
My choice is 24/16, 8/4(2). I want to get a headstart before White's board improves and I want to maintain some flexibility. The blot on the 8-point is also a builder/starter for the 5-prime. I'll take the chance of getting two sent back to White's board. Even in that near-worst case I'll still have a strong block on my side.
