I'll try the first part:

25/21, 24/20(2), 13/9. I make a very good, longterm asset and then bring down a builder/starter which dupes opp's cover/hit.

I used to try and stay back on the 21-point in these kinds of positions, figuring since I'm (still) behind in the race I need to maximize contact. Even further behind I've switched to making the strong anchor. The game has a long way to go and it's a while before it's purely a race, so go for structure.
