Not sure where you're coming from with this battery thing

My laptop battery lasts long enough for any domestic flight as long as I'm not running rollouts or something of the same CPU intensity.

And if you have to sit in the airport away from 120 V outlet you also have to add that in, too.

Maybe that's part of it, my battery is always fully charged when I get on the plane. I will sit on the floor in the middle of nowhere if I have to to have my laptop plugged in at the airport.

The airline mags in the seatpockets can only hold my attention for so long
