Has poker peaked?

Even if poker has peaked, it's hard to see its popularity diminish to any great extent. Almost every pub and club here in Australia has a weekly poker night, and within the next few weeks, the Aussie Millions will have a guaranteed first prize of $2 million. The game is only getting bigger here. I wish the same could be said for backgammon :-(

As to the WPT, some would say it has never been the same since Shana left. That WPT Club sounds quite terrible, although Hip Hop Holdem would give it a good run for its money.
