Good job with outline, Bob.

I add only that I agree with Rich and Stick that you should try to do what you can to get and keep students engaged with the class and having fun with it.

Just brainstorming now: maybe you could devote a little time in each class (or perhap just later classes) to playing a game (or match) in which you play against the rest of class, with them discussing their move (or cube decision) before a vote is taken. (Something like the online matches on Kit's and Stick's site, but in real time.)
