Backgammon course

An interesting demonstration, if you have enough boards, is to pair them up and play duplicate. (i.e. you roll for each side, in the front of the room, for every game, stating, "white rolls a 3-2.....black rolls a 6-5"....etc.) Each player makes their own plays....and hopefully doesn't copy their neighbor. Most of the time, each game will be different, with different winners.....whether they are black or white!

This may have the effect of dispelling the myth that the better roller always wins. It did for me when I first started.

This would also be a fun tournament event. But, that's for another thread. :-D
