13/9*/7 leaves 10 immediate shots {all sevens plus 5-3 and 1-3}.

13/9*, 8/6 also leaves 10 shots {1-4, 1-5, 4-4, 4-5, 5-3, 5-5}.

In exchange for an extra blot, the latter play leaves a much easier cleanup position. The question is whether we will need to clean anything up (i.e. will we be able to cash if Stick misses the immediate shots after the one blot play?).

If Stick fans he may have a close take after the one blot play -- I'm not sure. But even if it's close that's a strong cube. However the 27-8 = 19 times he enters without hitting it looks to me like he has a take (and in some cases such an easy take we may not have a redouble).

If we survive his roll for the two blot play I think he's going to have a tough take unless he anchors on the 21-point. That's a lot of cube value. The only downside for the two blot play is gammons, but those may not be such a big difference. He still has to hit both blots and then G us when we have two on the rail.

13/9*, 8/6 gets the crowd whispering and also gets my vote.
