20*(2) was my reflexive play. Guess since you didn't next that :) I should look at 24/16, [24/20, 13/9], and 8/4(2).

I've never played NG except in online matches. (I've watched Stick vs. Ray prop a lot and saw MANY non-intuitive moves. Of course all THREE of us were ingesting hydroxinated ethane. Mary and/or Ilia can admonish me for my bad chemistry.) My guess is that with so few checkers on the homeside to work with we're supposed to take advantage of what we have.

QF vote for 8/4(2).
