and found no hits. Maybe this is too mundane to interest most mathematical scholars. But I don't think this database is exhaustive. (Looks pretty widespread, though.)

I'm guessing you are looking for a bracket for a large number of players. Don't know of any BG Ty's that have tried this -- yours(?) might be the first. People who have done BG bracketing include Butch Meese, Sam Pottle, Jeb Horton. I know UBK and NeilKaz have toyed with the subject as well.
