Just to clarify my position...

I'm glad to see ANY additions of clock usage. CJC is adding clocks to doubles at Novi -- an addition -- great! Howard implemented clocks-OR for the Masters -- great! Jeb is applying clocks-or this weekend IN THE OPEN -- great!!!

Anyone who has read more than a few of my posts on things other than simply positions knows that I am fanatical about uniform treatment. I see the doubles as an event, just like the Masters, just like the Open, just like the blitz.... Doubles need clocks no more and no less than any of the other events. One step at a time, but let's not get partway up the stairway and think we've arrived at heaven.
