Progressive vs Traditional Last Chance for ABT events

The big difference between progressive and traditional LC is that on Sunday morning with progressive, only 16 players are left for LC and they are ready to start. With traditional, 52 players are ready for LC and some of them have to wait for the 4 losers of the conso round of 8 to feed into the first round of the LC. In a sense the LC will finish abit more than a round ahead with progressive since there's no delay in starting the first round on Sunday.
Clearly it is a huge benefit for side event flow to have 36 more players out of the main event by the start of play Sunday morning.
It is true that with progressive LC, players out of the conso can play side events Sat night, but it takes two matched up players to be both free to play masters and all 4 need to be free for doubles which rarely happens. The chances of the needed players being free for their side event match is greater when there's more players out of the event.
Agreed that players who are still alive in the masters or amateur jackpots MUST not be allowed be allowed to play in doubles at a typical weekend ABT event.
