way to go Jason! I think your perspective for lobbying online and in discussion groups is very acceptable. And, more importantly, as a player you choose your preferred option and don't get into debates "countering their anti-clock arguments". Just go with a tournament's clocking options.

The mechanics advantages are strong reason to use clocks. But add to that the big plus of "not letting a tournament get into schedule problems" --causing conflicts and huge waiting -- is a push for a more enjoyable overall event for the players.
