The last thing I would want is for anyone to play a 1 point match and run out of time. However I think it is good for people to get used to playing with the standard 12 second buffer. So I think I'm going to set my clock for a standard 5 point match (10 min reserve) and then assume shorter matches will be played and nobody will run out of time.

And yes, the idea of having some clocks available for practice throughout the weekend on a table up front dedicated to the purpose is exactly what I had in mind.

FWIW, Rob seemed like he'd have been open to the idea of Clocks Allowed for this event had he been planning the event right now instead of last year when the fliers were made.
