gambling ethics

Do you actually know that this guy is not filthy rich and that his losses are not just entertainment costs for him? I think it is close to unethical what they charge for movie tickets, popcorn and drinks, or to attend sporting events. But it is the cost of entertainment and I and others pay it. Some people don't mind spending lots of money for fun and excitement over the backgammon board.

If you have reason to believe that this guy is losing money that he really can't afford to be losing that is another matter, but in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with indulging someone looking for the action. As long as you are honest and don't lead the guy on.
