gambling ethics

Over the years I have played a lot of "one pocket" (a billiard game) for money. The mayor of a nearby town was drunk, flashing a major wad, and barking at me big time for a game. I refused to play him. I have certain "rules" about who I will play. The local hustlers couldn't get him to play them as he wanted a piece of me only. They went nuts wanting to back me or just anything to get at the bankroll. I don't break my personal "rules." I play backgammon with a similar attidude. I don't care who plays the "fish." Leave me out of it.
