Forfeiture / flag falling

Finally, a voice of reason. I was getting worried.
The GTII clock has the good feature that it indicates with the LED which player's clock first ran out of time in case nobody noticed and both clocks expired. This way everyone knows who lost for sure.
From my playing around with the GTII, the sound that indicates the end of the match (when this option is activiated) is just one beep. But if you properly set the clock to all time being in the SUDDEN (death) mode then when a player's flag falls his red LED blinks from that point on. So not only does it become clear whose flag fell (first), but if for some reason the players are distracted when the flag falls (e.g. don't hear the beep, don't see the LED at first) there won't be much of a delay before they notice the situation. Play ends. If a director needs to be summoned (that's certainly not in the current US Clock Rules) then this should be done promptly, but in any case I don't see why the match should/would continue.
I don't know about other digital clocks. I hope they have some kind of similar feature.
