17/8* takes care of three of our 3's.

I can't find enough good reasons to wimp out and not hit the second. We don't want him anchored on our 3-point. We don't even want him phantom-anchored there. His board isn't that threatening.

As the (growing cliche) says: "even if you have a big match lead, you still have to play backgammon."

Summary: 17/8*, 6/3*.
