Good progress with clocks in Pittsburgh

I concur with Chuck. It appears clocks are becoming much more readily received than I might have imagined.
Six of my eight matches this weekend were clocked, including the aforementioned match with Chuck -- one opponent did not want to play with one nor did he think we needed one (and we were both relatively fast players and finished fairly quickly). I also did not use a clock in a Last Chance match with Malcolm Davis. My clock was upstairs and I didn't even ask to use one as we were ahead in our bracket, it was a five point match, and I knew Malcolm is not a slow player.
But we need to continue to set the example of clock usage as standard practice, promote the advantages to the dice mechanics of the game, and note the clock is not intended to be punitive -- only to keep the tourney on a reasonable schedule and to improve the mechanics of the game.
