Primary goal: make White break before escaping.

Therefore, don't hit. I can cover one of my two blots -- which one is better? Look at opp's 5's and 6's on his side of the board. Which will be more awkward to play?

5's all play pretty well but 6-3 and 6-4 don't look that good. So I'm going to block 6's.

I can do that and then lift or not. By staying I might make the full prime -- very hard to do by lifting. But getting hit isn't so good either. Is it worth risking the hit? Fact is you can get g'ed with only two back (although not as often) whereas priming, even for one roll, could really help in the win column. So...
