4.3 MOVING. A player shall move the checkers in an unambiguous manner, using only one hand.
I have broken this on occasion, but pretty rarely (usually when placing a checker on the bar). I try not to do this. Probably a bad habit I picked up by watching other top players doing it at tournaments.
Checkers must be reentered from the bar before moving any other checker. A player shall not touch any checkers or dice during the opponent's turn.
I have seen other players do this sometimes but don't think that I have done this. Have adjusted checkers during an opponent's turn to make it clear what point they were on but I don't pick up the dice while his clock is running, even if I'm down to seconds on the clock. Have entered opp's checkers from the bar which seems to be quite common in the "legal moves" chouettes I play in but am trying to stop doing it at tournaments or just altogether.
3.4 COMPLETING A TURN. A player completes his turn by “hitting” the clock with the same hand used in moving,....
I always follow this rule, habit from playing chess.
