As I ran through White's rolls it doesn't seem worth it to pay off to joker PoH rolls to pick up a few double (vs. single) shots. (E.g. 5-3 is a big swing roll.)
10/7.

13/5 sure doesn't pay off to any hit+covers, and that means fewer G losses. White is running out of time; maybe he'll be forced off the anchor first.
13/5.

Rip two. Even though there aren't likely gammons, putting a bit of G-pressure on White can force him off the anchor before he wishes, which ought to make up for the slight chance of double jeopardy in the future. And if Blue has several checkers borne off when the hit comes he will have a take. Strip it now and you may be forced to pay off with most of your checkers still on the board.
3/0, 2/0.

I make the beginner play here, too, by covering the acepoint. I understand the wish for an outfield point but the 7-point is often bad against a 2-point anchor when trying to bear in, anyway. Keeping opp on the bar longer may pick up some extra gammons. White's PvP chances don't look all that bad if you try to force him into that kind of game. I'd rather try and escape one from his board (after he enters) than three!
25/21*, 7/1.
