Steve gets a little irritated sometimes, but he was a huge favorite on roll before Adam was able to get an attempt at his 11... I think Steve mentioned that he had 1s and 3s to close Adam out, and Adam had a 1 point board which became 2 when he tossed the miracle double aces from the roof.

Steve then fanned on the two point board as is required in the unwritten rule manual. So Steve was quite understandably frustrated.

His frustration was soothed somewhat, probably, when he provoked an excited and room wide audible ROAR the next day when he tossed 66 on his last shake to win the coveted Grand Crystal Beaver for the second time. He had to win the Crawford game to reach that game, and as I hear it Rod Covlin spilled 21 out of his cup a few times to set the stage for Steve's dramatic final roll...

I am sure that Steve probably outplayed Rod in that match, even though I did not witness it, but to that point but he had been unlucky. Even the GIANTS need a little luck sometimes, and it is sweet to get lucky last.
