I play a fair number of matches on the computer -- most against Snowie.

I record almost all of my tournament matches and input them into Snowie for analysis.

I don't think I consciously play any differently in live tournament play. Though perhaps I subconsciously attempt to play more cautiously in ABT tournaments where I know the level of competition is consistently higher than what I might sometimes find on-line.

However, I have lately noticed a tendency to miss OTB plays that I would make instinctively on the computer -- I'll see the alternative immediately on the screen when reviewing/inputting the match. I don't think speed of play is so much the issue -- computer play is typically much faster. I think I've just developed a better vision of the board on the screen and my OTB vision of the board has suffered.

I'll just have to be more cognizant of this tendency and attempt to correct it.
