"However, I have lately noticed a tendency to miss OTB plays that I would make instinctively on the computer -- I'll see the alternative immediately on the screen when reviewing/inputting the match. I don't think speed of play is so much the issue -- computer play is typically much faster. I think I've just developed a better vision of the board on the screen and my OTB vision of the board has suffered."
Do you also regularly review your online matches? It may be that you also are missing moves online and would also see the alternative immediately on review but never realize it.
Another issue might be that you have the board with numbered pips online and make use of the numbering. Perhaps when looking if a roll of 9 hits in online play you are subtracting the point's numbers instead of actually seeing it and that bad practice habit hinders real life play.
It may be though that you really do just see things better on the computer screen. Could it be that it uses a smaller field of vision? If so consciously scan the board more. Also maybe sit on two chairs instead of one and sit slightly further from the board.
