Wow, what happened to the neighborhood? Well, you do still have some blocking points and in particular White's 5's (other than 3-5 and 6-5) are bad for him. So buttoning up has some merits.

Bringing both back checkers out has good long-term prospects. Just hope White doesn't roll an immediate ace.

I think you make a break for it here. It's tough to win this game by battling White in a positional/hitting game. Of course you may have to do that anyway but it seems as though your back checkers become a liability if either remains on the 22-point, let alone both.
