Trivia: 1950s baseball nicknames

Having grown up in metro Detroit, we had the "Yankee Killer" in the 50's, known for his lifetime 28-13 record against NY, including 7-0 in 1958.

We also had Don Mossi, who Bill James described in the Historical Almanac as being able to run ugly, hit ugly, throw ugly, field ugly, and was ugly for power, as well as being ugly to all fields. You also never saw an uglier player in the clutch.
