I don't care what anyone thinks of either of them, you just can't compare what are considered poker bad beats to backgammon bad beats. The poker bad beats you're used to seeing are in tournaments where the entry fee is that of the payout for winning a backgammon tournament.

When someone plays like refried shite and beats me in bg, oh well, I'm over it shortly. However, when someone @ a 5k entry NLHE tourney @ the WSOP plays a hand for complete shit pushing all their chips in when we each have huge stacks and are completely dominated and suck out, the sting lasts a lot longer as I watch my chance at 500k pissed down the tube because some idiot is rewarded when it really counts.
