This match actually occurred 30 years ago in a tourney at a mall in Syracuse NY. My opp was the worst player I have ever encountered before or since.
The score (after 0 games) is: Einstein 0, ntk 0 (match to 9 points)
Move number 4: Einstein to play 16
Einstein 160
ntk 160 Position ID: 4HPFATDg5+ABMA Match ID: MIE4AQAAAAAA
My opp started the match with 61 and also played his second 61 13/6. He only made an inside point if it pointed on me or if it was the only play not to leave a blot. If he could play safely from the mid point he did so, but if not he moved the back checkers by default. Much later in the match he had another 61 to play. You may wonder how the cube got to 8. Well he recubed me to 4, needing only 2pts after what had to be his 10th blitz stopping joker double with 2 checkers on the roof this match.
The score (after 0 games) is: Einstein 7, ntk 2 (match to 9 points)
Move number 8: Einstein to play 16
Einstein 75
ntk 109 Position ID: tm2BwQDPPQNgAA Match ID: A4E4AXAAEAAA
Anyhow, even 30 years ago, we knew how to duplicate 4's, but my opp looked at every possible legal move with his 61 and after 5 minutes (no other play this match had taken him even 15 seconds) he settled on 17/10. Of course I missed both blots with 44 and he rolled 66 next to end it.
