Hi Neil,

Javafibs graphics are nicer to look at, but I actually found 3dfibs more to my tastes. Partly this is because Javafibs is shareware and there is some moral obligation to pay for it IMHO. If you're only using something irregularly, I balk at paying for it (especially transactions over the net).

I downloaded a better 3dfibs board and layout (free) and then mixed and matched it slightly with the 3dfibs standard layout. I ended up with something I could live with and not have to pay for. Before you think I'm just being a tightarse (perhaps tightass in 'American' :-), I found the 3dfibs interface to work a little smoother and I also found it more intuitive.

Anyway, if you want my version of 3dfibs you are welcome to it. Just say so, here, or privately, and I'll figure out what files I need to send you.
