42 from a nice 5 prime position

(Without looking at the bot's top five)
Seems to me like having the back of the prime slotted without any potential covers isn't so great. Thus in my mind there is impetus to play either 9/7 or 9/5 with half the roll.
Giving up the anchor feels premature. Opp has three checkers on his low points he'd very much like to put into play, and he has some backup on the 6-point. True, his fives are currently unplayable but I'd rather see him strip the 6-point before I come off the anchor. Blue's timing is an issue, but not for this roll as long as 5-5 (and to a lesser extent, 3-3) plays on the homeside.
Slotting the front of a five prime is usually to be avoided, in my experience. I don't recognize this as an obvious exception.
9/5, 6/4 is the beginner play. It also could be the right play. That is my choice.
