Oh Really?

Ban him for life? Have we become a society where if an individual uses bad judgement we turn our back on him/her forever? Does a person's sentence never end? Doesn't a person get an opportunity to learn from their mistakes never to do it again?
All I have read so far is some time ago a person made a horrible sense in judgement and forwhatever reason ended up making it right by returning the board. Now many want this person condemned.
My question is this; how has this person been since that incident? Has he or she continued to error in judgement or have they changed their ways and been rightous ever since?
The time to punish that person came and went. Others with cooler heads chose to give a free pass. If that person has been rightious ever since I believe it should be dropped.
People do make mistakes and some learn from them. Lets not ever forget that.
The ones the never learn is the ones I want no part of. They get exactly what they deserve.
